The weather became hot between Conor McGregor and the team Frankie Edgar. After the Irishman revealed that he offered to replace the injured Max Holloway and facing the North American at UFC 222, the former lightweight champion's team did not hide their irritation. Frankie's manager, Ali Abdelaziz, denied that McGregor had made himself available to face his client. As a bonus, he called his opponent an ‘old prostitute’.

Showing clear irritation with what happened, Abdelaziz also suggested that McGregor face Edgar in June, after the American faced Brian ortega at UFC 222.
Edgar's coach also sends a response to McGregor
Edgar's trainer, Mark Henry, also responded to McGregor's statement. The commander said that the Irishman will never have his pupil's heart and called the lightweight champion a 'dog'
“You will NEVER have Frankie's heart, or his integrity. It's sooooo simple: if your dog s*** post is true, confront Frankie next. Whether in MMA or boxing. (And I promise he won't take a sledgehammer to the top of your head, he knows the rules). But YOU WON’T!”, he snapped.
