With two titles up for grabs, the UFC arrives in Houston, this Saturday (8), for the 136th edition of the show. Among the highlights of the night, the Brazilian Jose aldo puts the featherweight belt on the line for the second time in the UFC against the veteran Kenny Florian. Already due to their reign in the lightweight division, the North Americans Frankie Edgar, current champion, and Gray Maynard re-edit the UFC 125 fight, which ended in a draw. 1 – Aldo puts belt on the line against Florian
Coming from an unquestionable streak of 12 consecutive victories, Jose aldo He hasn't found an opponent under 66 kg in the world, but despite his favoritism, the Brazilian athlete praises the North American, who recently switched from the lightweight category to the featherweight division.
“I didn’t see any difference in him fighting at lightweight or even at featherweight. I'm going to try to be the explosive Aldo I've always been and we'll see what happens”, said the champion, and then explained a possible tiredness in the last round of his fight at UFC 129: “I prepared a lot more for this fight. Contrary to what many people said, I didn't get tired in the last round. This time, the weather is helping. It’s hotter here than in Toronto, which makes it easier to make weight,” he added.
In turn, Florian, who has already challenged for the UFC welterweight and lightweight belt, guarantees that he will not waste the new opportunity to become Ultimate champion, and if necessary, he will leave blood in the Octagon.
“It will be a very tough fight, very difficult, as Aldo is a great fighter. I promise a lot of determination, a lot of desire and to leave blood in the Octagon to leave with the belt,” he said.

2 – Edgar and Maynard close trilogy
After fighting a real battle in January, where the duel ended in a draw, the North Americans Frankie Edgar e Gray Maynard face each other again for the UFC lightweight belt. Current champion, Edgar seeks to avenge his only defeat in MMA, against Maynard at UFC Fight NIght 13, in 2008.

3 - Chael Sonnen back to UFC
After 14 months without fighting, due to problems with doping and American justice, the always controversial Chael Sonnen returns to the most famous octagon in the world this Saturday to face Brian Stann, where the winner of the fight will have the chance to fight for the middleweight belt, held by the Brazilian Anderson Silva.
“No one wanted to fight him (Brian Stann), I'm not the only one. He's been winning the event and I knew that would happen at one time or another. I'm focused and I'm not going to back down. I'll take him down. When the guy with the dreadlocks (referring to referee Herb Dean) says 'fight,' I will fight,” Sonnen said.
4 – Demian and Santiago have a Brazilian duel
Away from the UFC 136 spotlight, the Brazilians Demian Maia and Jorge Santiago face each other on the preliminary card with an eye on rehabilitation at the event. The paulista Demian Maia lost a streak of two victories after being surpassed by the Filipino Mark Munoz at UFC 131. In turn, Jorge Santiago, who returned to Ultimate in 2011 after five years away, did not have the expected return.
