Despite being personal friends outside of the fighting world, Rampage jackson and Chael Sonnen will face each other in the first round of the Bellator heavyweight tournament, in a duel that will take place on January 20th. To make the dispute even more interesting, Rampage made an unusual bet with Sonnen: for every fall he takes from his friend, he will pay him an extra US$10.

The two participated in TV and radio programs to promote Bellator 192 in Los Angeles and, while exchanging provocations in a friendly atmosphere, Rampage He made a bet with his rival and asked him to pay US$500 for each jab he connected to his face.

Sonnen not only accepted the bet but declared that it will change his game plan, as he had been thinking about just one takedown per round before his opponent's promise.
“So it’s $10 for every time I put you on your ass? I was planning on doing this once per round and taking my check home. But $10k… even for a rich guy, $10k is good money,” she commented.
