Riding the success of X-Combat Ultra MMA and the epic edition of UFC Rio, Campos dos Goytacazes embraces MMA once again. On October 21st, the city in the interior of Rio de Janeiro will hold the first edition of Campos Combat. According to promoter Rodrigo Riscado, the event will take place constantly, as it is included in the sports calendar of the largest city in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Mario Yamasaki, known worldwide for mediating UFC duels, will be in charge of the show's refereeing. To make the event even brighter, the ring girl will be the beautiful Carol Dias, from the program Legendários, on Rede Record.
Among the duels, emphasis on Paul Philo. The former Pride athlete, who currently resides in Campos dos Goytacazes, faces Paraguayan Artur ”Tutu Monster” and seeks to find his way back to victory. In addition to Paulão, the fight program features names such as: Antonio Braga Neto, "Delson Pé de Chumbo”, Gustavo “Ximú” and Leo Santos.
