The heavyweight belt will be up for grabs in early 2018! The champion Stipe Miocic defends his reign against the Cameroonian Francis Ngannou at UFC 220, an event that takes place on January 20th, in Boston (USA). The news was released, in the early hours of this Thursday (07), by the North American website MMA Junkie and should be made official by the organization in the next few hours.

Miocic, who has a professional record of 17 wins and two losses, will make his third title defense in the franchise. If Ngannou wins, the American of descent will become the heavyweight with the most title defenses in UFC history.
