Last Saturday's UFC Poland suffered a loss at the beginning of the event week. Englishman Jim Wallhead was forced to leave the card and Brazilian Warlley alves for now he has no opponent for his return to Ultimate after almost a year out of combat. The information comes from the North American website MMA Junkie, which did not reveal the reason for “Judo Jim’s” departure.

Warrley hasn't fought since November 2016, when he lost to Kamaru Usman No. UFC Sao Paulo, in the unanimous decision. Previously, at UFC 198 in May of the same year, he had suffered the first defeat of his career against Bryan barberena. In the UFC, Warlley has three victories and two setbacks, having overcome names like Colby covington, Nordine Taleb, Alan Jouban and Márcio Lyoto, in the final of TUF Brasil 3. He was supposed to face Kiichi Kunimoto in June, but suffered an injury and had his return postponed.
Wallhead has only two fights in Ultimate, with two losses. The Englishman, who has already fought as a light heavyweight and middleweight in other promotions, was defeated by Jessin Ayari in his debut in the organization and ended up submitted by the Brazilian Luan Chagas at UFC 212, an event organized in Rio de Janeiro, in June this year. “Judo Jim” previously fought for Bellator, Cage Warriors, Bamma and KSW before signing with the UFC.
Ultimate has not yet revealed whether Warlley will have a replacement or whether the Brazilian will be removed from the card. UFC Poland takes place next Saturday (21), in Gdansk, and will feature a duel between welterweights Darren till e Donald Cerrone as the main attraction. Also confirmed on the card are Felipe Sertanejo, who returns to featherweight against Josh Emmett, in addition to a duel between the strawweights Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Jodie Esquibel.
