Antonio Pezão made his kickboxing debut this Saturday (14) on the sport's biggest stage. The Brazilian entered the ring at Glory against the beast Rico Verhoeven. Despite being considered a big underdog in the dispute, the man from Paraíba put up a tough fight, but was defeated by technical knockout in the second round.

Pezão opted for a tactic of cornering his rival and working from a short distance. But the Dutchman showed why he is the heavyweight champion of the show. With great agility, he got out of the pressure and landed a high kick that took the Brazilian to the ground.
The central referee opened the count, but the Brazilian returned to the dispute. Still stunned by the blow, Pezão felt pressure from Verhoeven and the referee interrupted the dispute (watch how the dispute went below).
