Another chapter in the growing rivalry between Michael Bisping e Georges St Pierre was written this Friday (13). In Toronto, Canada, for a promotional event to promote UFC 217, on November 4th, when the two will be in the main fight, the middleweight champion provoked the former owner of the welterweight belt and almost got punched in retaliation.

Clearly irritated by the Englishman's repeated provocations, GSP did not deal well with Bisping almost touching his forehead to him during the face-off after the event, in addition to the “Count” placing his index finger on his chin. He pushed the middleweight champion with his fist, clearly holding himself back so as not to attack his rival.
After the incident, Bisping continued to provoke GSP, saying that he had lost his mind again and claiming that he was hindering the Canadian's mental preparation for his return to the Octagon after almost four years away. The Canadian responded ironically, using hand gestures to imply that his opponent talks too much.
A week ago, the two had met on the eve of UFC 216 for an official press conference surrounding the launch of UFC 217, along with other members of the card. At the time, St. Pierre had already shown some lack of control and pushed Bisping when the two made the official pre-event face-off.
