Claudia gadelha avoided making excuses for the crushing defeat against Jessica Stacker at UFC Japan, held last Friday (22), in Saitama. Through social media, the Brazilian fighter congratulated her rival and revealed that she will take a break from MMA for a while, stating that she needs to give her body a rest and be with her family.

Before the defeat, Claudinha had two consecutive victories, both in fights held in Brazil. Number 1 in the rankings, she defeated Cortney Casey in the UFC Sao Paulo, in November 2016, and finalized Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 212, in Rio de Janeiro, last June. At 28 years old, his record has 15 triumphs and three setbacks.
