Right after losing to the strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Jessica Andrade decided to test herself against the second best fighter in the category, her compatriot Claudinha gadelha. After being identified as an underdog during fight week, scheduled for UFC Japan this Friday (22), Bate-Estaca surprised and dominated the fight against the former Nova União fighter, winning by unanimous decision from the judges.

Using her enormous strength, in addition to aggression and ground and pound, Jéssica resisted her opponent's superior start, found the distance to unleash her boxing and heavy hands, and defined the duel with takedowns, dominating with ground and pound and hurting Claudinha in the body and face. The duel was bloody from start to finish and was voted the best of the night at UFC Japan.
