Making his Ultimate debut and his first MMA fight in 13 years, kickboxing world champion Gokhan Saki did what was expected of him at UFC Japan this Friday (22). A devastating and violent knockout against Brazilian Henrique Frankenstein, who threatened the Turkish-Dutch with elbows and punches, but ended up being knocked out at the end of the first round.

With his takedown defense up to date and testing one blow at a time, Saki began to notice his opponent's movement and, when he felt comfortable, he began to launch sequences at Frankenstein. The Brazilian tried to take him down after the first knockdown, but when he realized he wasn't going anywhere, he decided to stay on his feet, even though he was injured. He landed hard blows, but was caught in the counterattack by a devastating blow from Saki.
