After lightning knockout, Manuwa faces UFC newcomer Poland

The UFC Poland card, which will be held on October 21st in Gdansk, continues to take shape. After the organization makes it official Donald Cerrone x Darren Till in the main attraction, another match was added to the show. This is a duel between Jimi Manuwa and Polish newcomer Przemyslaw Mysiala, valid in the light heavyweight category (up to 93kg). At 37 years old, Manuwa is coming off a tough setback against Volkan Ozdemir at UFC 214, last July, when he was knocked out in just 42 seconds, interrupting a streak of two consecutive victories, both by knockout. Number 5 in the rankings, he has nine fights in the company, with six positive results and three negative results.

Mysiala, in turn, has five consecutive victories, the most recent against Brazilian Wallyson Carvalho at ACB 63, in July this year. In total, the European has a professional record with 22 wins, nine defeats and one draw.

Besides Donald Cerrone, another relevant name confirmed on the card is that of the former strawweight challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz, which comes from defeat against Claudinha gadelha. She faces debutante Jodie Esquibel. The fight between Artem Lobov and André Fili, valid for the featherweight division, is also guaranteed on the show.
