the duel between Rogério Minotouro e Jared Cannonier, valid in the light heavyweight category, has a new date to take place. Initially scheduled for UFC Norfolk, on November 11th, the duel was transferred to the card in Winnipeg, on December 16th. The information was given by Ultimate himself, who did not give further explanation about the change of plans. The UFC also made official the duel between middleweights Oluwale Bamgbose and Alessio di chirico for the same card.

Number 11 in the under-93kg division ranking, Minotouro hasn't fought since November 2016, when he was severely punished by Ryan bader No. UFC Sao Paulo. He would face Ilir Latifi at UFC Oklahoma in June this year, but suffered a neck injury and was forced to withdraw from the event. Before the setback to Bader, Minoto was coming off a stunning victory over Patrick Cummins at UFC 198, in May 2016. At 41 years old, his record has 22 wins and eight losses. In the UFC the campaign is irregular, with five triumphs and five setbacks.

Unlike his opponent, Cannonier, 33 years old, is coming off a victory in his most recent fight. He beat Nick Roehrick at TUF Finale 25 in July this year. The triumph was a recovery from the setback suffered by the Brazilian Glover Teixeira at UFC 208. “The Killa Gorilla” has a record of 10 wins and two losses, with three positive results and two negative results in Ultimate.
