The defeat for Chael Sonnen is still stuck to Wanderlei Silva. The Brazilian returned to the country this Tuesday (27), after the fight at Belator 180, last Saturday (24) and is already dreaming of a rematch against his arch-rival.

Through a long post on Instagram, Wand spoke about the emotion of returning to compete – he hadn't fought since March 2013 when he knocked out Brian Stann in the UFC –, lamented the setback in his 50th career fight and revealed that he will be looking for a rematch against Sonnnen. For 'Crazy Dog', a new encounter with the North American loudmouth 'is personal'.

“I just arrived in Brazil and went straight for a bike ride, to make up for missing here. This week was a week of strong emotions for me, of learning and overcoming... I had (like everyone who has a big challenge ahead) a very big and intense mental war... I couldn't make a mistake in the fight... ANYTHING can happen, imagine If I go in and get bombed like what happened to Fedor, a situation that has already happened to me and can happen to anyone. It's very difficult when that happens, especially against an arch-rival. Our mind is conditioned to often think about the worst… Have you noticed that bad thoughts come alone? The good thing is you have to think about it, well... I did this a lot to motivate myself... I hadn't fought for four years and I went straight to do the main fight in the most famous arena in the world, a place where all the big names in sport and show business have already they were, and this was my turn!

This was my 50th fight, I have a lot of baggage and I've been through almost everything inside the ring... I've been fighting since I was 13, and then people ask me (you shouldn't even be nervous, right?) that nervousness never goes away... you learn to control and deal with it. with him ! I knew what he was going to do with that entry and he had a great counterattack for it, but I couldn't put it into practice... in this one he managed to play his game very well, I can't take away the merits of my opponent who performed well prepared.

I didn't know that the national anthems were going to play before the fight... when it started playing I was moved to see all of Madison Square Garden all green and yellow... many Brazilians too (I want to thank you very much for your strength) including some who came here from Brazil to meet me Watch it, it's priceless! I'm slowly telling this whole story, and what this first fight of our career restart was like! Now the Chael Sonnen It affected my pride and I'm going to pursue this rematch at all costs, I have to show that I can do better (it's personal with him), but imagine if they marry me against another fighter who would accept a stand-up duel! I was ready to let it go, but he didn’t want to”, posted Wanderlei.

Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen competed in the main fight of Bellator 180, last Saturday, an event that marked the organization's debut at the traditional Madison Square Garden. The Brazilian, who even had a good moment at the beginning of the second round when he landed a bomb on Sonnen, ended up dominated most of the time by the North American, who bet on the strategy of applying takedowns and nullifying the Brazilian on the ground.

In the end, Chael was declared the winner by unanimous decision. Wand was irritated by his rival's tactics and he even pushed his rival when he was giving an interview in the cage.

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
