Video: Wanderlei pushes Sonnen and causes confusion during face-off before Bellator 180

The long-awaited face-off between Wanderlei Silva e Chael SonnenFinally, it happened. And there was confusion. The two fighters, who will face each other in the main fight of Bellator 180, this Saturday (24), in New York, came face to face this Thursday (22), during a press conference organized by the company.

As soon as he was called by Scott Coker, president of Bellator, Wanderlei arrived provoking his rival, who just stared at him and did the traditional staring pose. With his finger raised, the Brazilian raised his voice and started walking forward, even pushing Sonnen. Immediately, Coker and two event security guards intervened, preventing a bigger mess from happening.

In addition to Wand and Sonnen, four more approaches were promoted: Fedor Emelianenko with Matt Mitrione, responsible for the second most important fight of the night, the welterweight champion Douglas lima with former UFC Lorenz Larkin, Michael chandler, lightweight champion, with challenger Brent Primus and lightweights Aaron Pico and Zach Freeman. All, however, were respectful and without disturbance.
