Aldo plummets in the UFC's weight-for-pound rankings; Holloway moves up to 5th

The victory of Max Holloway in the main fight of UFC 212, an event held last Saturday (03), moved the organization's official weight-for-weight ranking. Aldo, who lost the featherweight belt, fell six places and is now tenth on the list, while Holloway, the new lineal champion of the 66kg division, rose seven places and took fifth place.

flyweight Demetrious Johnson remains in first place in the ranking, followed by Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier e Stipe Miocic, in order. Michael Bisping e Amanda nunes they also lost one position each, and are now in 11th and 12th, respectively.

Other significant changes were in the bantamweight division. The carioca Marlon moraes, who debuted after being defeated by his compatriot Raphael Assunção, appeared for the first time on the category list, in tenth place. Johnny Eduardo, knocked out by Matthew Lopes, lost four positions and is in 14th, while his tormentor appears in 13th. In light heavyweight, Mauritius Shogun fell one position and is in 5th.
