the fight between Chris Cyborg and Angela Magaña continues to be a topic among UFC fighters. And practically everyone is in favor of the Brazilian, who was bullied online by the North American for months and punched her enemy in the face when the two met in person at an event promoted by Ultimate especially for its athletes last month.

Frankie Edgar, former lightweight champion, was one of those who argued in favor of Cyborg. In Rio de Janeiro to help with the preparation of Marlon moraes, which ended up losing to Raphael Assunção at UFC 212, the North American defended the Brazilian.

PUBLICITY:

“Of course, I’m not saying it’s acceptable to punch someone. But if you tease someone for months, you can't really be surprised that they get angry when you meet them in person. It's ridiculous that she's suing Cyborg. You are a fighter. She swore at someone and was punched in the face. Leave it alone and move on with your life”, declared “The Answer”.

The recently retired and former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate went even further. For her, the only thing Cyborg did wrong was not punching Magaña harder.

PUBLICITY:

“That was a beautiful day for me, I thought Cyborg was wonderful. I wish it was a stronger punch. Angela is a bully. She is a child, someone who never grew up. It's not cool to bully online and I think there should be harsher consequences for those who do it”, pondered the former fighter.
