“F*** Dominick. I offered him an immediate rematch and he came with excuses that he was injured. So, screw it. He does not deserve. I'm looking for a fight against Demetrious”, commented Garbrandt, in an interview highlighting that DJ does not intend to face Dillashaw, as was speculated after his injury.

“I talked to Demetrious, he doesn’t want to face TJ. TJ doesn't deserve it. If he wants to go down to flyweight, that's fine, he'll miss his chance and won't fight me again. I go down to the flies and go after Demetrious. That's what I told Dana. That's the way things happen. If they want to face each other, go ahead. I will then fight against the belt owner there,” he declared.
