Since officially coming out of retirement for a possible superfight against Conor McGregor, the American Floyd Mayweather gave the biggest hint that the duel will take place. Last weekend, the boxer put his chances of facing the Irishman at 90% in a superfight that has been negotiated for months.

Out of the United States to follow one of the fighters he manages, Mayweather said that, upon returning home, he should meet with his own managers to talk about the arrangement to face McGregor. Despite there being nothing official, the North American guarantees that he is back to training at a strong pace.
“If he signed the contract…I'm here, always working and training. When I return to the United States, I will have a business meeting with Al Haymon (manager) and Leonard Ellerbe (CEO of Mayweather Promotions) and see what our next step is. But there's no rush. When we get everything right, I'm sure it will be a huge success. You know that whenever Floyd Mayweather fights, History happens. 90% of this fight is against Conor McGregor”, commented Floyd in a press conference after the fight with Gervonta Davis, his athlete, on Saturday (20).
Last Sunday (21), at an event with heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, Mayweather once again spoke about the possibilities of a deal with McGregor and said he was excited to return to the ring.
"I was told Conor McGregor You have already signed your part of the agreement. So I'm excited to sign my share. I haven't signed anything yet, but when I return home, I'll get in touch with my team, let's put our great minds to work and put on another super fight”, he declared.
