“I think it’s a phenomenal thing for combat sports and for the UFC as well. Anytime you put boxing and MMA together, I think it's a good opportunity for everyone. These guys are the best in their divisions and, on paper, this fight may not be very stylish overall, but it will be a great fight”, declared Woodley, in an interview with the program “UFC Tonight” (USA), which concluded by stating that the high values ​​raised are another positive point in favor of holding the confrontation.

“Other than that it will bring in a lot of money. We fight for millions of dollars, these guys can reach tens of millions and Floyd is used to hundreds of millions of dollars. So, I think this fight really has to happen”, added the champion.
