Kelvin Gastelum seems to have enjoyed the experience of fighting in Brazil. After knocking out Vitor belfort at UFC Fortaleza, last Saturday (11), the North American will face another legend of the national sport. Ultimate announced the fight between Anderson Silva x Kelvin Gastelum as the second most important duel at UFC Rio, scheduled for June 3, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

After beating Belfort, Gastelum showed interest in facing Anderson on national territory.
“I said I wanted a fight that interested me and Anderson is a guy who would interest me a lot. It's a combination of many things. A big name, another legend, ranked above me. And eventually I can win the title shot if I win,” he said.
“I liked fighting here (in Brazil). As they say, I felt at home. I want to fight again in Brazil, I really enjoyed the experience, I want to fight in Rio in June, added Gastelum, who had his wish granted.

Kelvin Gastelum, 25 years old, has an MMA record of 14 wins and just two losses. The North American won the 17th edition of TUF, the UFC's reality show, at welterweight (up to 77 kg.). But after struggling to reach the category limit, he moved up to the middleweight division and is undefeated, with three victories in a row.

But, in February this year, at UFC 208, the former champion beat Derek Brunson and rediscovered the path to victory. Anderson, 39 years old, has a record of 34 wins and eight losses.
