Jacaré believes he will rematch Romero in his next fight

About to face Tim Boestch at UFC 208, this Saturday (11), in Brooklyn (USA), Ronaldo Jacare is already thinking about the next steps. Number 3 in the middleweight rankings (up to 84kg), the Brazilian once again highlighted that the focus is on the division belt, which should be contested by the current champion Michael Bisping and the Cuban Yoel romero. However, according to Jacaré, the Englishman will 'run away' from the duel, which will pave the way for a new confrontation with his only tormentor in Ultimate.

“This fight will happen because Bisping is scared, he is running. My fight will happen (with Romero). I believe that after my next fight, Romero will be next. My focus is on the belt, of course. I would prefer to face Bisping next time, but I think I'll end up facing Romero. We have unfinished business,” he declared, in an interview with the website 'MMA Fighting' (USA).

Another reason that could prevent the fight between Bisping and Romero from getting off the ground is an old acquaintance of Jacaré: his friend Anderson Silva, which faces Derek Brunson on the same card, at UFC 208. If the former middleweight champion wins, there is a chance that the Brazilian will 'jump the queue' and become the next challenger in the category. Jacaré, however, has already stated that he would not be happy if this possibility came to fruition.
