Former light heavyweight champion Rashad evans will make his first middleweight fight against Dan Kelly, at UFC 209, which takes place on March 4, in Las Vegas. The North American hasn't fought since April last year, when he was knocked out by the Brazilian Glover Teixeira. The information is from the website of the North American channel ESPN.

Evans was set to make his middleweight debut at UFC 205 against Tim Kennedy, but an abnormality in an MRI scan of his brain ruled him out of the event. The fight was rescheduled for UFC 206, but the same problem took him out of action again. Later, it became clear that there was an error by the radiologist who analyzed the exam and the former champion is again able to fight.
