Whoever thinks that Jon Jones He has a low debt in the UFC. Suspended for a year by USADA (US Anti-Doping Agency) after being caught in an anti-doping test on the eve of UFC 200, the former light heavyweight champion could return to the octagon in July 2017. And if it depends on Dana White, president of the organization, the opponent has already been defined: the winner of the confrontation between Daniel Cormier e Anthony Johnson, which takes place at UFC 210, April 8th, for the under-93kg division belt.

Depending on where Jon's head is, and where he thinks it is, I'd say he'll go straight back to trying to win back the belt”, declared the president, in an interview with “UFC Unfiltered” podcast.
Asked if Jones wouldn't need a 'readaptation' fight upon his return, Dana stated that a fighter of 'Bones' level is always ready for the biggest challenges. “If you are willing to come back, then at least fight to try and get your belt back. Everyone said that Ronda Rousey I should have fought to readapt, but that doesn't exist. All fighters in the top 5 of any category are monsters. What you don't want is to lose to guys ranked eighth, ninth or tenth, because a loss to them takes you out of the top 10”, he concluded.
Jon Jones hasn't fought since April this year, when he defeated Ovince St Preux at UFC 197 and won the interim light heavyweight belt. He was scheduled to fight against Daniel Cormier at UFC 200, in July, but he was caught in a drug test with just three days to go before the event and was removed from the card.
