Anderson Silva reveals dream outside of fighting: 'Acting in action films'

Former UFC champion is already preparing for post-fight life and has been testing in Hollywood

Former UFC champion Anderson Silva is known for his legendary career in MMA, but is already thinking about moving to another area of ​​activity. At Media Day before UFC 208, the event in which he faces Derek Brunson, the Brazilian revealed that he is studying to become an actor, more specifically in action films.

“I have some tests to do in Hollywood, I wrote a series and Netflix bought it, thank God. I have other projects outside of fighting. I always had the dream of being an action film actor. I’ve been studying for some time and now things are happening”, commented Anderson.

The Brazilian has already had a documentary made about the preparation for his first fight against Chael Sonnen, at UFC 117, which is called “Como Água”. As an actor, Anderson has appeared in Brazilian and foreign films, such as “Tapped Out: A Revanche”, as well as North American TV series.
