Still recovering from an injury that took him out of the fight against Ronaldo Jacare, Luke Rockhold wants to return to grappling before venturing into the Octagon again. And the former UFC champion wants to face another former belt owner: Jon Jones, which recently won Dan Henderson in the modality.

Through his Twitter profile, Rockhold challenged “Bones” to a grappling duel at Submission Underground, an event organized by Chael Sonnen.

PUBLICITY:

“Jones is testing his grappling skills. Leave these old people alone. Do you want to try this sh…for real? I'm free on January 29th. Let’s dance!” Rockhold tweeted.

Upon being “horned” for asking for a fight while injured, the former champion declared that his doctors only prohibited him from throwing kicks. A black belt in jiu-jitsu, Rockhold has an excellent level on the ground, having won world championships as a blue and purple belt.

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
