The involvement of Georges St Pierre with the MMAAA (MMA Athletes Association) does not seem to have stopped Dana White, president of the UFC, from negotiating the Canadian's return to the Octagon.

The Ultimate leader, opposed to the organization founded by St. Pierre, admitted that he spoke again with the athlete and declared that he is not afraid to offer more money to guarantee the return of the former welterweight champion.

“I have a great relationship with Georges and, yes, obviously we would love for him to fight again. The problem is that Georges has a deal. He is under contract with us at the moment, but he has an agreement. I’m not afraid of giving Georges St-Pierre more money, but it has to be something plausible”, commented Dana, on the program “Chad Dukes x The World”.

St. Pierre himself had already declared the reopening of negotiations for his return to MMA. The Canadian hasn't fought since November 2013, when he won John hendricks in the main fight of UFC 167.
