Ronda Rousey didn't like the provocations at all Amanda nunes and countered the current bantamweight champion, who had said she would knock her out in the first round of the fight between the two, at UFC 207. For the American, her next opponent's comments are just a way for the Lioness herself to motivate herself.

“He has to say this (that he will knock her out in the first round), because everyone knows that she loses steam in the second round. So she has to say she's going to knock me out in the first round. What else can she say to herself?” commented Ronda, on the North American TV show “Conan”.

Ronda hasn't fought since November last year, when she was knocked out in the second round by Holly holm, at UFC 193. Amanda is on a four-fight win streak. The last one was about Miesha Tate and guaranteed her the women's bantamweight title, which previously belonged to the American.
