One day after being removed from UFC 205, the fight between Rashad evans and Tim Kennedy already has a new date: it will be at UFC 206, December 10th, in Toronto, Canada. Originally, the duel was scheduled for UF 205, an event that takes place next Saturday (12), in New York.

This will be Evans' first fight in the middleweight category (under 84kg). At 36 years old, the former Ultimante light heavyweight champion is not having a good time in his career. He was defeated in his last two fights, against Ryan bader e Glover Teixeira. His last positive result was in November 2013, when he defeated Chael Sonnen at UFC 167. In total, there are 14 wins, five losses and one draw in the organization.
Tim Kennedy hasn't fought since September 2014, when he was knocked out by Yoel romero. At 37 years old, he has 18 wins and 5 losses in his career. In the UFC, he lost just once and beat three opponents, including the current champion Michael Bisping and the Brazilian Rafael Sapo.
UFC 206 will feature a rematch between Danielo Cormier and Anthony Johnson in the main fight of the night and Max Holloway x Anthony Pettis in the second most important attraction of the night. Names like Cub swanson, Nikita Krylov and Doo Ho Choi are also part of the card.
