Taking advantage of the momentum of UFC Rio, Sony Music will release, for the first time in Brazil, official UFC DVDs. In total, there will be five releases containing best moments, important fights, behind-the-scenes material, reports and interviews, all with subtitles in Portuguese. Four of the titles, which arrive in the country this July and will be sold in the main stores in the sector, on DVD and Blu-Ray.
One of the highlights is DVD UFC Ultimate Royce gracie, which records the trajectory of one of the most important precursors of MMA. A walk through the history of the sport, the DVD features 16 emblematic fights, behind the scenes and reports from names such as Georges St-Pierre, Matt hugs, Rodrigo “Minotauro”, Lyoto Machida and Dana White. Classics such as clashes against Ken Shamrock, Kimo Leopoldo and Kazushi Sakuraba are included in the material.
UFC Best of 2010 contains the 13 most important fights of 2010, including: Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen, Lyoto Machida vs Maurício Shogun, Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velazquez e Rampage jackson vs Rashad evans. The DVD also features a tribute to the Hall of Fame member Matt hugs and a summary of the most relevant fighters in each category.
The Double DVD UFC 126 – Silva vs Belfort brings everything about the “fight of the century” between Brazilians Anderson Silva e Vitor belfort. In addition to other fights from the historic event, such as Jon Jones vs Ryan bader and Rich Franklin VS Forrest griffin, the DVD contains the countdown to the event, behind-the-scenes images and scenes and the official weigh-in.
UFC Ultimate Heavyweights features the organization's most important heavyweights, including the promising Brazilian Junior Gypsy, distributed over 20 complete fights. Finally, UFC Ultimate Knockouts 8 features more than 25 of the Octagon's most devastating knockouts, reliving remarkable performances from names like Anderson Silva, Maurício “Shogun”, Cain Velazquez e Brock Lesnar.
