Cyborg debuts in UFC rankings after victory in Brasilia

Brazilian appears in 15th place in the weight-for-weight list; Massaranduba and Barão also rise

The overwhelming victory in UFC Brasilia, last Saturday (24), yielded good results for Chris Cyborg. The Brazilian made her debut in the official Ultimate rankings in this week's update.

Cyborg, who massacred Lina Lansberg in the main fight of the attraction, appears in 15th place on the weight-for-weight list, which includes athletes regardless of gender or category. The leader is Demetrious Johnson, flyweight champion, followed by Dominick Cruz (rooster champion), Daniel Cormier (light heavyweight) and José Aldo (interim featherweight). The other woman in the ranking is Joanna Jedrzejczyk, strawweight champion, eighth; Amanda nunes, women's bantamweight champion, was left out.

Another highlight was Francisco Massaranduba, who got his seventh UFC win in a row against Paul felder. The TUF Brasil 1 veteran made his debut in the lightweight rankings, in 13th, ahead of To the fifth e Evan dunham.

Finally, another winner of the UFC Brasilia reaped the fruits. Renan Barao, which hit Philippe Nover, made his debut in the featherweight category rankings. The former bantamweight champion displaced Mirsad Bektic on the list and appears in 15th place.
