Overwhelming! This way, the performance of Chris Cyborg. The Brazilian took no notice of newcomer Lina Lansberg and knocked out her rival in the second round in the main fight of the UFC Brasilia, event held this Saturday (24). This was the 17th victory in the Brazilian's professional career, 15 of which were by knockout. In the post-fight interview, still in the octagon, Cyborg assured that she is not thinking about becoming UFC champion and asked for more super fights.

Lansberg, in turn, said he had fun in the octagon and praised his opponent. “This is a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it. Cris is incredible. It was a little more difficult than I expected, but she is incredible, I followed her for years”, declared Lina.

Cyborg, as usual, started the fight attacking her opponent with jab and straight combinations. Lansberg quickly clinched the Brazilian in an attempt to lock her arms, but received hard knees to her waist. After moments of little action in the clinch, referee Mario Yamasaki ordered the two to separate. Cris took advantage and again delivered a barrage of blows to Lina, who only defended herself until the end of the round.

On the way back from the break, more of the same: Cyborg connected a straight jumper on the Swede, who felt it and closed. Cris didn't stop striking and threw very strong kicks at his opponent's waistline. After the standing punishment, the Brazilian took down and started working on ground and pound. Cyborg unleashed a barrage of blows to the body and head, forcing the referee to end the fight.

The fight began with Nover taking the initiative and landing some jabs on Barão's face, who was aiming for the American's waistline. The Brazilian started to grow in the fight and put together a good combination with low kicks, crosses and direct kicks. However, Nover landed a powerful left blow that shook Renan. The Brazilian, however, continues to connect good blows, but without much power. The round ended with Barão landing a good kick to Nover's waist.

Barão returned to the second stage, landing a low kick and a round kick on the North American. Better in the fight, Barão risks a knee, but Nover made a good defense. The Brazilian continued to have control of the Octagon and struck his opponent more frequently. After a bad kick from the American, Barão went for his rival's legs and took him down in the last act of the second round.

In the decisive round, more of the same: Barão surrounded his opponent and put pressure on, while Nover tried to strike on the counterattack. After a few moments of study, Barão looked for the takedown and managed to take the fight to the ground, where he pinned the North American with his back to the ground. Nine managed to get up and tried to strike, but the Brazilian tried the takedown again, which was well defended by his opponent. The two return to studying each other and throw some blows into the void. In the final moments, Barão takes Nover to the ground once again, but he didn't have time to work on the ground.
