Dan Henderson He is known for being one of the biggest “thick men” in the history of MMA. With 46 professional fights on his record, he has faced several names respected worldwide, cases of Anderson Silva, Mauritius Shogun, Vitor belfort, Fedor Emelianenko and company. However, when asked who would have been the toughest opponent of his entire career, the 46-year-old veteran chose an old acquaintance of Brazilian fans: Wanderlei Silva.

– My toughest night of fights was at Ring King of Kings, a 32-man tournament (Hendo beat Gilbert Yvel, Rodrigo Minotauro and Renato Babalú on the same night). That was definitely my hardest fight night. In a single fight, it was perhaps the first time I faced Wanderlei (Silva). I wasn't in the best of conditions,” Henderson told the North American website Champions.co.

The American's “payback” came seven years later, when he knocked out “Crazy Dog” in the third round at Pride 33, in a fight valid for the middleweight belt of the now defunct organization.
