The Ultimate organization announced during the UFC Fighter Summit, an event held in Las Vegas this week, that it will reward the fighters who best use Twitter with an extra bonus of US$5 (around R$8). Without wasting time, the Brazilian Wanderlei Silva, one of the most adept athletes on the microblog, began his campaign to win the award. The fighter stated that if he wins the bonus, he will draw the prize for his fans.
“If I win (the prize) I will give away these 5 thousand to a fan, what do you think? Only Silva to give a gift like that, huh”, Wand wrote on the microblog. “Help me get more followers”, added the fighter, starting his advertisement.
Before starting the campaign on Twitter, Wanderlei Silva he had 71 thousand followers on the social network, but according to the Brazilian fighter, he gained more than a thousand fans on the microblog
