After knocking out the Brazilian Mauricio Shogun at UFC 126, in February, Jon Jones won the UFC light heavyweight belt. Now, with no time to rest, the North American revelation should put his title on the line in 2011.
According to Dana White, president of Ultimate, Jones will defend his belt against his former teammate, Rashad evans in September October 2011. The confrontation will probably take place at UFC 135 or 136, events without a defined date and location yet.
