UFC debut in New York will feature Evans vs. Kennedy

UFC 205, which will mark the fight organization's debut in New York (USA), should soon have its first fight confirmed. Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Rashad evans should move down to the middleweight category and face Tim Kennedy.

The information was anticipated by the North American website “FloSport”. Evans, 36 years old, is not going through a good moment in his career. He was defeated in his last two fights, against Ryan bader e Glover Teixeira. His last positive result was in November 2013, when he defeated Chael Sonnen at UFC 167.

PUBLICITY:

Kennedy, best known in the United States for being a war veteran, also lost in his last appearance in the Octagon, in September 2014, against Yoel romero. Before that, the American won three fights in a row in the UFC, including a triumph over the current weight champion, Michael Bisping, in April 2014.

UFC 205 will take place on November 12th at the legendary Madison Square Garden. So far, no fight has been made official for the attraction.
