Brazilian John Lineker already has a date and opponent set for his return to the Octagon. Coming from five consecutive victories in the Octagon, the Paraná native faces John Dodson in the main fight of UFC Fight Night Portland, an event that takes place on October 1st. in the city of the state of Oregon (USA).

After struggling to make weight in the flyweight category, Lineker moved up to the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg) and has already achieved three series victories. He beat Francisco Rivera, Rob font and Michael McDonald.
Dodson also left the flyweight division after being defeated in the title fight against Demetrious Johnson. In his debut in the new division beat Manny Gamburyan by technical knockout in the first round, in April.
