Conor McGregor constantly brags about the multimillion-dollar salaries he receives at the UFC. However, the Irishman showed that he also thinks big when it comes to investing in his training. For the fight against Nate diaz, which takes place on August 20th, the fighter spent a lot of money on his preparation.

On the website of the North American broadcaster “ESPN”, McGregor made an estimate of his costs during training. “With gyms, cars, transport, flights and accommodation, I think we are talking about a training cost of US$300 [R$948 at the current price]. It's a very, very big expense, but everything I do is big. So, looking at the whole picture, it’s actually quite small,” revealed the Irish athlete.

McGregor will have the opportunity to return the only defeat he suffered in his career in the UFC. Precisely for this reason, combat has a special meaning. “This is certainly not just another fight. I did a lot of different things for this fight. I'm going to war every single day in the gym in preparation for this fight. So this is a war for me,” he commented.

The fight between McGregor and Diaz will be the main attraction of UFC 202, in Las Vegas (USA). In the first confrontation between the two, in March of this year, the North American came out on top with a submission in the second round.
