The UFC has released the complete list of participants for the 24th season of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter, which will name the next challenger for Demetrious Johnson for the flyweight belt of the main MMA organization on the planet.
The program will feature 16 fighters, all of them champions of minor leagues around the world. Two Brazilians were confirmed: Ronaldo Cândido, from Shooto Brasil, and Alexandre pantoja, holder of the RFA belt.
Fighters who have had previous stints in the UFC are also present. For example, Damacio Page, champion of Legacy FC, had three fights in Ultimate between 2011 and 2012, in addition to having faced Johnson himself in the now-defunct WEC. Already Tim Elliott, Titan FC champion, fought in the octagon between 2012 and 2015.
TUF 24 will have coaches Joseph Benavidez e Henry Cejudo, former challengers for the flyweight belt. The winner of the season will face Johnson for the title on December 3, in Las Vegas (USA).
