Amanda nunes, challenger for the women's bantamweight belt, has more technical resources than the current champion of the category, Miesha Tate, and, therefore, she will win the belt next Saturday (9), at UFC 200. At least that's what the Brazilian's head coach, Marcus “Conan” Silveira, guarantees.

According to the leader of the American Top Team academy, Amanda is more complete than Miesha in both her attack and defense skills. “I didn’t want to take too much away from her way of being, because she’s very good at what she does. In this camp, we did a lot of things related to the type of fighter Miesha is. Without looking down on her in any way, she is the champion and, regardless of how it happened, she has to be respected. But I believe Miesha doesn't have the tools that Amanda has. It’s her difference, both when attacking and defending,” she analyzed, in an interview with the UFC website in Brazil.
As much as Amanda is an explosive fighter, “Conan” stated that the athlete will be physically prepared for the fight if it reaches its decisive rounds. “We increased a lot of things in her training. The fight could end in the first, but it could also end in the fifth round. You need to train to know how to react and reason in the five rounds. Logically, we're going to look for a knockout at the opportunity that comes our way, and she has the tools to do that. We have a plan, a strategy for the five-round fight”, he added.
This will be the first defense of the Miesha Tate, who became champion in March, when she finished Holly holm. Amanda will be the third Brazilian to fight for a UFC title: Bethe Correia fell to Ronda Rousey in August last year, and Claudia Gadelha magpie Joanna Jedrzejczyk on Friday (8), the day before UFC 200, for the title of the lower division, the straw men.
