The forced changes to the UFC Fight Night 91 schedule brought good results for John Lineker. With the departure of Michael chiesa card, the man from Paraná will face Michael McDonald in the main fight of the event, which takes place on July 13, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (United States).

Originally, Lineker and McDonald would have the second most important fight of the attraction, while Chiesa and Tony Ferguson they would duel in five rounds in a row. However, Chiesa suffered a back injury and ended up leaving the card, which led to Lineker's fight being promoted.
Now, Ferguson, third in the lightweight rankings, will face newcomer Landon Vannata, 24 years old. The UFC newcomer is a pupil of Greg Jackson, the main trainer of Jon Jones, and has a professional record of eight wins in eight fights.
Lineker, 26 years old, has a professional record of 27 wins and seven losses in MMA. In the UFC's bantamweight division, the Paraná native beat Francisco Rivera and Rob font. McDonald, who competed for the interim belt in the category, is coming off a victory over Masanori Kanehara.
