One of the biggest stars in MMA today, Conor McGregor had his fan day this week. The UFC featherweight champion linked up with singer Rihanna, who performed in her hometown, Dublin, Ireland.
McGregor visited the singer backstage at the show and was honored to meet her. “It was an honor to see the performance of the number 1 woman in the world! This woman is not kidding,” wrote the UFC fighter on his official Instagram account.
Rihanna also returned the affection on Instagram. "I knew Conor McGregor backstage last night! It's a lot of heart! Thank you so much for your kind words,” she posted.
McGregor is preparing to fight his next fight, which will be on August 20th, in Las Vegas (USA). On that occasion, the Irishman will have a rematch against Nate diaz, who defeated him in March. The fight will headline UFC 202.
