Donald Cerrone promises to make some noise in the welterweight division. After losing the title fight in the lightweight category to the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos, the Cowboy moved up in weight and scored his second consecutive victory in style. He dominated Patrick Cotê and knocked out the Canadian, at home, in the second most important fight of UFC Fight Night 89, in Ottawa.
After dominating his rival on the ground in the first round, Cerrone accepted the open exchange from the second round onwards and managed three knockdowns before achieving a technical knockout at the end of the dispute.
