Giorgio Petrosyan (D) wins twice in K-1 World Max

The Armenian Giorgio Petrosyan is two-time champion of K-1 World Max, an event held this Monday morning (Brasília time), in Tokyo, Japan. The fighter, who had won the title last year, defeated Albert Kraus, Mike Zambidis e Yoshihiro Sato all in the judges' decision to keep the belt.

In the tournament's reserve fight, the Brazilian André “Dida” ended up defeated by Hinata, also in the judges' decision. The Brazilian athlete at the event, Fabiano da Silva had better luck and won Jan Kaszuba.

In the only MMA fight on the show, the former judoka Satoshi Ishii, gold medalist at the Beijing Olympics, finished Katsuyori shibata with an armbar in the first round. Check out the other results of the event:
