Khabib Nurmagomedov he got a new opponent and was kept on the UFC on FOX 19 card, an event that will take place on April 16, in Tampa, in the United States. The Russian, undefeated in professional MMA, will face Darrell Horcher, who will make his debut in the biggest MMA organization on the planet.

Originally, Nurmagomedov was going to face Tony Ferguson in the main fight of the attraction, the winner of which would most likely be appointed as the next challenger for the lightweight belt. However, Ferguson left the fight after blood and other fluids accumulated in his lungs, and the UFC was looking for a replacement.

Horcher, 28 years old, has a record of 12 wins and one loss. “The Saint”, as he is known, occupies the position of the CFFC event, and his only professional setback was against Philippe Nover, current Ultimate athlete.

The fight between Nurmagomedov and Horcher will take place at catchweight, at 72,5 kg, just above the lightweight category limit, and will be part of the main card of the attraction. The most important fight of the night will be between light heavyweights Glover Teixeira e Rashad evans.
