With almost 5 thousand votes tallied on its official website, First Class Fight ended the promotion “You are the FCF champion”, with those chosen to fight for the prize of R$ 5 thousand reais. The public's favorites to take part in the decisive fight were Rodrigo Ruiz and Vitor Toffanelli, in the under-70kg category.
The two will face each other in the first fight of the fifth edition of the show, which takes place this Saturday, October 23, at the Mauro Pinheiro gym. In addition to the cash prize, the winner of this fight will already be guaranteed on the main card of the sixth edition of the FCF.
Coming from karate, Vitor Toffanelli already has 14 professional MMA fights and has ten wins and four losses.
“I want to fight to have a space on the national scene. Many fighters don't have opportunities at big events. And I’m sure I’ll put on a show for the public,” he said.
Rodrigo Ruiz is an old FCF acquaintance, as he fought in the third edition, but ended up losing to Edson PC.
“My life is about fighting and being at a big event like this is always part of my plans. I just want victory”, said the Checkmat team fighter.
FCF organizers are excited about the promotion's success and expect a great fight in this final.
“There were a lot of good guys among those who signed up, it was even difficult to choose the finalists. But the public did a great job in putting both of them in the final. They are very tough guys and I'm sure they will put on a show inside the octagon”, said Roberto Godoi, creator and organizer of First Class Fight.
