Confirmation of the rematch between Conor McGregor e Nate diaz for UFC 200 disappointed a lot of people. One who didn't like the news was Rafael dos Anjos, Ultimate lightweight champion, who criticized the Irish fighter's choice not to defend his featherweight title.

McGregor will look to avenge the submission defeat he suffered in the Octagon earlier this month. Also at UFC 200, José Aldo e Frankie Edgar face each other for the interim featherweight belt, representing a rare situation in which an interim title is created even if the champion is fit to fight.

According to Dos Anjos, McGregor's decision is a resource so that he can remain as champion for longer. “I feel bad for Aldo and Edgar. After UFC 200, Conor will get another fight in a different category so he can keep the belt for a little longer. Coward”, wrote the Brazilian on his Twitter account.

Dos Anjos would be McGregor's original opponent at UFC 196 on March 5th. However, the Brazilian suffered a broken foot shortly before the fight and was replaced by Diaz.
