The former UFC fighter and loudmouth Chael Sonnen didn't like the Brazilian's attitude at all José Aldo after the defeat of Conor McGregor for Nate diaz, last Saturday (05). In his weekly podcast, Sonnen gave a long monologue about the Brazilian's statements about the Irishman and even got excited, cursing Aldo and harshly criticizing the former featherweight champion.

“Many people celebrated his defeat (Conor McGregor), when they should have celebrated their effort. The show must go on and the show only continued because of him, his courage. There you have the José Aldo, the least profitable champion in history. Nobody knew who the José Aldo it was until Conor McGregor to appear. Nobody was willing to get on a plane and pay to support him and no promoter would want to pay him anything because he doesn't bring any return. He received the biggest check of his life multiplied by five because of a single guy named Conor McGregor. Instead of him being grateful, he comes and kicks the guy who is down. Just kidding? And that wasn’t even his fight”, said Sonnen.

The former athlete continued his even more angry reasoning. “And who wants this fight (Aldo x McGregor 2)? It would be a horrible box office because you can't buy a ticket to watch a fight live from José Aldo – he has already withdrawn from fights against this exact opponent twice and five times in total in his UFC career. Five times! Who can plan a family trip, take time off work, save money and book a hotel? Who will do this? Nobody! The son of a bitch won't show up! And the worst part: they're going to give him this rematch. It should be the Frankie Edgar, which would do much better for business”, he concluded.

The fate of Conor McGregor it should be sealed in the coming months. After the setback to Nate diaz, his first in Ultimate, the Irishman confirmed that he will return to featherweight and defend his belt for the first time. The favorites for the duel are, those mentioned by Sonnen, José Aldo e Frankie Edgar.
