One of the UFC's biggest rising stars today is about to take his first steps in mainstream North American media, outside of the Octagon. The “sweetheart” paige vanzant was confirmed as a participant in the 22nd season of the program “Dancing with the Stars”, the original version of “Dança dos Famosos”.

The fighter herself made the announcement on social media. “Twenty-second season of Dancing with the Starts on ABC (Disney group’s North American channel), here I come!”, wrote the Ultimate strawweight. In addition to VanZant, other sports stars who will be part of the program will be: American football players Von Miller and Antonio Brown, and former player Doug Flutie.

paige vanzant will not be the first MMA star to participate in an edition of “Dancing with the Stars”. Previously, members of the Hall of Fame UFC fighters Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture also participated in the attraction. The show's 22nd season premieres in May.
