Now retired from MMA fights, the loudmouth Chael Sonnen bet on a career as a commentator. And, being one of the few to have already shared the Octagon with both Anderson Silva how much with Michael Bisping, who face each other this Saturday (27), the North American gave his prediction for the main fight of the UFC London: for him, the Englishman is fully capable of surprising and coming away with victory.

On his YouTube channel, “Bad Guy Inc”, Sonnen stated that Bisping should rely on his intense fighting rhythm to nullify the Brazilian's striking. “Contrary to what everyone says, he [Anderson] is not a great counterpuncher. If you reach Anderson Silva, he won't hit you back until you stop hitting. That's the biggest secret when fighting him. While you are at a strong pace, he will worry about defending himself, dodging. He likes it. Bisping has good physical stamina and works non-stop on his jab. He could get the better of the points after five rounds if he hits more than he gets hit,” he commented.

Furthermore, Sonnen warned that Anderson could present himself differently in the fight that follows his failure in the anti-doping test, when he faced Nick Diaz. “I think Bisping has a good chance of winning Anderson Silva. Don't forget that there are stricter tests nowadays, and Anderson tested positive for three substances, including a steroid. Then the Anderson Silva What Bisping will see is not the same guy we've seen in past fights. How much will change? I don't know. But it must affect you to some extent. Bisping has a legitimate chance of winning,” he insisted.

However, Sonnen believes that Bisping could fail in the fight if he respects the Brazilian too much. “He can't get there with the 'respect' factor, and he respects Anderson. He even said that Anderson Silva he was his idol. If he fights like this, he will lose like everyone else who has ever lost to him. Bisping needs to get there and go for it from the start, without giving Anderson time to breathe,” he advised.

Sonnen has already lost twice to Anderson, in 2010 and 2012, and defeated Bisping in a close fight, also in 2012.
